Escric per a una amiga/I write to a friend

He usat Déu per a aconseguir una rima.
Per això que, de mi, l'àngel no se'n fia.
No us enfadeu, que el poema bé ho valia.
I amb sort, igualment l'afecte d'una amiga.
Digueu-me si no és tendre, el cor, quan somia.
Estic segur que seria una alegria
si l'amor que espera, avui també l'estima.
Deixeu-lo ser feliç, així es viu la vida!


English/Anglès:

I used God to get a rhyme.
Therefore, the angel doesn't trust me.
Don't be angry, the poem was worth it.
And luckily, also a friend's affection.
Tell me if the heart isn't tender when it dreams.
I'm sure it would be a joy
if the love for whom it waits, today it loves back too.
Let it be happy, it's how you live life!
